Service Scope

MRU.AI is a business software platform for management companies, finance teams, and related professional users operating in or through Mauritius. The service includes AI-assisted document retrieval, preliminary compliance workflows, research support, board-pack generation, internal knowledge search, and administrative tooling.

The platform is provided on a software-as-a-service basis for internal business use. Features, limits, and processing behavior depend on the subscription, deployment configuration, and connected third-party services active in your environment.

AI Output Disclaimer

MRU.AI produces machine-generated summaries, scores, comparisons, and draft outputs. Those outputs are preliminary decision-support materials only and do not constitute legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, investment advice, sanctions clearance, or regulatory approval.

You remain responsible for independent review, professional judgment, and formal approval workflows, including any maker-checker, MLRO, legal, compliance, or board review required by your firm or regulator.

Customer Responsibilities

You must ensure that users have authority to upload documents, submit KYC or due-diligence information, and process personal or confidential data through the service. Information submitted to the platform must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and used only for lawful, authorized business purposes.

You may not use the service to support money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, market abuse, fraud, unauthorized surveillance, or any attempt to circumvent compliance or risk controls.

Data Handling

Customer content is stored in configured infrastructure that includes Supabase-managed database services and related application infrastructure. Data is expected to be encrypted at rest by the underlying managed providers, but exact residency, retention, and processor posture depend on the deployment selected for your environment.

Where enabled, uploaded documents and user prompts may be processed by Google Gemini for analysis and generation. Authentication, session, and organization management are handled through Clerk. Hosting and delivery may be provided through Vercel and associated providers.

Intellectual Property

MRU.AI and its software, models orchestration, interface design, documentation, branding, and non-customer platform materials remain the property of Mauritius AI Finance or its licensors. You retain ownership of your uploaded documents and business content, subject to the licenses necessary for us and our subprocessors to operate the service on your behalf.

Suspension, Termination, and Liability

We may suspend or restrict access where necessary to address security incidents, non-payment, suspected misuse, unlawful activity, or material risk to the platform or other customers. You may stop using the service at any time, subject to contractual notice terms that apply to your subscription.

The current version of the service is provided without service-level uptime guarantees. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an 'as available' basis, and Mauritius AI Finance disclaims indirect, incidental, consequential, and special damages arising from use of the platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any dispute relating to the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing, will be subject to the competent courts of Mauritius.
